More women wait to have children later in their lives.
Kensington Palace announced last week that Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle are expecting their first child.
News about Royal baby made headlines — and, with it, so did
the age of Meghan Markle.
That's because, at the
age of 37 years, Meghan Markle is considered to have " Geriatric Pregnancy " label often
used by doctors to describe pregnancy in women over the age of 35.
However, right now, are less likely to hear the doctors
throw the term's "advanced age pregnancies, " most ancient
connotation and imprecise.
It's much more common to refer to the pregnant women over
the age of 35 years as "Advanced
maternal age."
The average age of women having children increased
The Duchess of Sussex is part of a much larger movement
where more and more women are waiting longer to have children, at least in the
United States.
Between 2000 and 2014, in fact, the number of first births
of women 35 years of age in the United States increased by 23 percent,
according to the Center for disease control and prevention.
Previous research suggests that this shift is largely due to
the fact that significantly more women have entered the workforce and now
prioritize their careers, higher education, and financial security.
Advanced maternal age pregnancy does come with certain risks
However, as women age and delay having children, the quality
of their eggs deteriorates and, consequently, decrease their fertility.
This decline began around the age of 30 and the speed of
about 35, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
(ACOG).
"When you are young and you release an egg, the quality
of the eggs is very good-most likely it will go and will be planted. When you
get older, the quality of the eggs become much worse, "Dr. Shahin Ghadir,
OB-GYN and certified Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology at the David Geffen School of medicine at UCLA and the Keck School
of Medicine at USC, says to Healthline.
ACOG reported: the remaining Egg in women aged older "Geriatric Pregnancy ", tend to
have abnormal chromosomes
As a result, the longer women wait to have children, the
more likely they are experiencing complications.
A mother's advanced age women have a higher risk of
experiencing high blood pressure during pregnancy – also known as preeclampsia
– along with gestational diabetes, a
condition in which the body does not produce enough insulin to regulate the
sugar during pregnancy, Ghadir says.
Multiple pregnancies,
miscarriage, premature birth, and birth Cesarean complications are more common as well.
In addition, while the risk of having a baby with
chromosomal abnormalities such as Down's syndrome-a-little, the possibility of
having a baby with a chromosome is missing, damaged, or Extras did not increase
as you get older.
Be as healthy as possible before getting pregnant
Women aged 35 years and over should not be too worried since much of this age group gave birth
to a baby is completely healthy with no complications.
"Trying to be the most healthy is one of the most
important things that must be done before someone is pregnant, especially if
you are over the age of 35 years," said Ghadir.
Don't miss your annual physical exam, and be sure to get
your blood sugar, blood pressure, thyroid, and uterine cavity You checked
before getting pregnant, Ghadir suggests.
Consume vitamin prenatal folic acid, such as eating a
healthy diet, and exercising regularly can help minimize complications as well.
Women have more options than ever before
However, even the healthiest women can experience the
complications of childbirth, that is why it is important for all women over the
age of 35 years old to undergo prenatal screening tests to determine the risk
of having a baby with birth defects or genetic disorders.
If your doctor suspects you may be vulnerable to
complications or infertility, there are many treatment options available to
help you get pregnant.
"The progress in the field of maternal-fetal medicine, also known as high-risk obstetrics, has allowed women with the age of the mother
who continued to have a successful pregnancy and carefully monitor the women
during their pregnancy," said Ghadir.
For example, if infertility or genetics is the problem, in-vitro fertilization
(IVF)-a procedure in which eggs are combined with sperm in the laboratory-women
can help you get pregnant at any age.
In addition, if you are 30 years old and has no plans to
have children soon, Ghadir recommends freezing your eggs. This process allows women to harvest the eggs of their health and save it for later use.

I would like to share my personal experience in this field. Some time ago I was ready to give everything for the opportunity to become a mother. Biologically I am now my baby mother. I have no eggs and due to cancer and I lost my uterus. I had no variants. Since I am from Hungary surrogacy is illegal here. We started looking for variants abroad, here a cost varies greatly. After reviewing a large number of clinics, we contacted native iyabasira native clinic They offered an ‘all inclusive’ package that we were very happy with, as we were only focused on winning. And it is much cheaper than somewhere else and we were surprised with conditions and attitude to us. After 1.5 years we became parents. And it is pricelessly. this is mother iya herbs works, email info (nativeiyabasira@yahoo.com) In such cases her herbs is a real solution to become a happy mum.
